Hey friends! Happy Sunday…
So yesterday I attended the Ultimate Women’s Expo and Food Expo at the NJ Convention Center in Edison NJ with my sister and blogger/journalist, Nerisa Eugenia Waterman. It’s basically a 2 in 1 event that takes place under one roof.
On one side, you find yourself walking through the Women’s Expo that consists of small business vendors as well as major chain businesses. There are free DIY classes, massages, hairstyling, manicures and various beauty treatments…
And you can also get a free biometric screening, which I personally think is awesome…
As you keep walking towards the other side, you then enter the Food Expo. The Food Expo wasn’t admittedly as huge as the Women’s Expo, but it was definitely one of the best parts of the event if you’re a foodie.
If you ever wanted to learn how to be a mixologist, you could register to take a mixology lesson and get a free drink.
You found chain businesses giving out really nice samples. When I say nice samples, I mean you would get bags of chips, loaves of bread, bagels, english muffins, etc.
There were lots of vendors who not only made delicious foods and desserts, there were some creative designs. One in particular caught my eye…
Baked Bouquet not only had such beautiful designs, the desserts were so yummy. This would be a perfect centerpiece to use at your event, as it is definitely a conversation piece.
The expo was definitely a great event to attend on a weekend, as you can literally spend the entire afternoon there with all the vendors and DIY activities right at your feet.
The Ultimate Women’s Expo goes to the following cities/counties:
- New Jersey
- New York
- Atlanta
- Houston
- Orange County
- Los Angeles
- Dallas/Fort Worth
- Chicago
If you live in or near any of the above locations, you should definitely attend.
I will forewarn you that the lines are ridiculously long, so we bought the VIP tickets, which I thought was worth the money because it gives you instant access. With VIP, you also get a tote bag, canvas book bag, tshirt and first access to the meet and greet with celebrities.
Oh did I forget to mention that you get to meet and take photos with celebrities? At the Food Expo, 2 celebrity chefs will do a cooking demonstration and also answer your questions.
NJ had celebrities such as; Keke Palmer, MC Lyte, Lynn Richardson, Caroline Manzo, Teresa Guidice, Graham Elliot and Sasha Pieterse.
And of course, you had a backdrop and a step and repeat to take photos for the blog and/or Instagram 😉. And btw…it was just a coincidence that my ootd (outfit of the day) matches the backdrop 🤭
So let me just repeat myself one more time by saying you should definitely attend this event if and when it comes to your area. You will not be disappointed.
Love the flower display and those cupcakes. Looks like a great event!
