Blogmas Day 4: Birthday Trip

So my hubby took me away for my birthday to the most wonderful place…where I was born.  St. Croix

I thought it was the most beautiful and thoughtful idea.  I was born in St. Croix, but was raised in New Jersey since the age of 3.  I’ve only been back to St. Croix once when my great grandmother passed away.   I think I was around 7 or 8 years old.  So I don’t remember anything about my place of birth.

It’s going to be an amazing trip.  I love that I still have family here to give us a personal tour and show me things that I would not experience with paying for one of those tours.

Blogmas Day 3: Decorating While Traveling

When you’re traveling during the Christmas holiday or just during the month of December, do you decorate your home with Christmas decorations?

Last year we spent Christmas in Mexico and we decorated the house for Christmas. I must admit that although most of December was not spent at home, I enjoyed coming back home to a decorated house.  Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday.

This year we have not decorated for Christmas and it kind of makes me sad.  We are traveling this month, but I still feel we need some sort of Christmas decorations.  It just isn’t right!
