Blogmas Day 3: Decorating While Traveling

When you’re traveling during the Christmas holiday or just during the month of December, do you decorate your home with Christmas decorations?

Last year we spent Christmas in Mexico and we decorated the house for Christmas. I must admit that although most of December was not spent at home, I enjoyed coming back home to a decorated house.  Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday.

This year we have not decorated for Christmas and it kind of makes me sad.  We are traveling this month, but I still feel we need some sort of Christmas decorations.  It just isn’t right!

What are your thoughts?

Blogmas Day 4: Avent Calendar Ideas…Adult Edition

Hey my friends!

So the other day I decided that I wanted to purchase an avent calendar for my husband when I came across couples avent calendar.

I had no idea those existed. What! There are so many different types of couples avent calendars. There is the PG version and of course the x-rated version. I decided to purchase a digital avent calendar from Etsy to get a feel of what it was all about. The digital avent calendar was a bit too PG for our liking, so I decided to do a little research and found a few.

And guess where I found these? That’s right, Amazon and they are all less than $20 each. December might have started 4 days ago, but it’s not too late to purchase one to add a little romance to your holiday season.

Merry Christmas my friends!

Christmas might look a little different this year. However look at it on a positive side… this is your opportunity to create new memories with those that are around you.

I hosted Christmas dinner at my house today for just my parents and siblings. I was excited, as I love decorating my home for the Christmas holiday. I wanted to make the experience of being at my house a memorable one.

And yes, as a host, I had 2 wardrobe changes. With us not having much places to go right now, I have to keep it glam in my home.

I pray that 2021 Christmas will be free of a pandemic and allow those of us to resume the old traditions and incorporate the new ones we started in 2020.
