All About the Ultimate Women’s and Food Expo…

Hey friends! Happy Sunday…

So yesterday I attended the Ultimate Women’s Expo and Food Expo at the NJ Convention Center in Edison NJ with my sister and blogger/journalist, Nerisa Eugenia Waterman.  It’s basically a 2 in 1 event that takes place under one roof.

On one side, you find yourself walking through the Women’s Expo that consists of small business vendors as well as major chain businesses. There are free DIY classes, massages, hairstyling, manicures and various beauty treatments…

And you can also get a free biometric screening, which I personally think is awesome…

It’s National Handbag Day👜👛👝

Hey my friends!

Guess what day it is today…that’s right, it’s National Handbag day! If any of you are like me, you absolutely love bags.

Anyone that knows me will tell you that my favorite bag designer is Coach.  I love the diversity of their handbags and not to mention the quality of the leather.  At the moment, my style of bag has been the clutch.

I must confess that I have another favorite designer.  My recent go to designer is YSL.  I don’t know what it is, but there is just something about a YSL bag that I cannot resist falling in love with.

So my questions to you are:

  • What is your favorite style of bag?
  • Who is your favorite bag designer?

Cannot wait to hear from you 💋

Supporting Small Businesses…

Hey my friends!

Happy October 1st…

On Sunday, September 29th, my sister and I attended an event at the NJ Convention and Expo Center to support local businesses.

The event focused on natural hair and beauty. As you walk throughout the expo, you found local businesses showcasing their handcrafted products. You could find natural hair products, facial and body scrubs, hair and body wraps, paintings, sculptures, etc. All of the vendors were extremely creative, but there was one vendor that truly caught my eyes.

Sade’s Place creates beautiful ethnic dolls with natural hairstyles. As you saw from the video, each doll is unique, amazing and unlike any doll you would find in a toy store.

The owners of Sade’s Place are the dynamic duo, Sade’ and Tawana. If you did not attend the expo for an opportunity to purchase a beautiful doll, they are located on Etsy.

We definitely enjoy going out to events where we can support small businesses. As an owner of a small business, I understand the importance of supporting one another.

I encourage any blogger, especially those that has a business, to support your community of small businesses.

Until next time, night night 💋
