Fashion Friday: New Year’s Eve Makeup Look

Hey my friend!I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Holiday.

The new year is upon us within a matter of days. What are your plans? Are you keeping it low key or going all out and glamming it up?

Here’s a makeup look inspiration for those of you that want to look old school Hollywood glam, but you only plan on wearing something casual.

All you need is your favorite red lipstick (I’m wearing Fenty Beauty). I wore a light coverage foundation (Fenty Beauty) and finished the makeup look with mascara (Buxom blackest black).

It’s amazing how a simply red lip, hair combed to the side and *crystal drop earrings can make you look glam.

Blogmas #17: New Year’s Eve Look #2…

Hey my friends! The countdown is on…are you all set for New Year’s Eve? If not, here is look #2 for those attending a more formal event.

This attire is formal, yet fun and sexy. I paired this dress with strappy nude heels. The pair I’m wearing has gold metallic straps around the ankle, but plain nude will work just fine.

To make this attire a little more fun, I added the ‘sparkle’ gold hoop earrings by N A Waterman”Eye Catching Jewelry”. In look #1 I wore the same hoops for a more casual look. I’m showing how you can wear these pair of earrings with any attire. You can wear them with jeans and a tee or with this long sequined wrap dress.

To get yourself a pair of these hoop earrings, go to my online boutique and enter the code: sparkle for an exclusive discount.

Until next time my friends, night night šŸ’‹

Blogmas #13: Fashion Friday

Hey my friends!

So it’s officially 12 days until Christmas. Do you have your outfit(s) already picked out? Are you keeping it casual, are you glamming it up or are you somewhere in between?

I personally fit in the in between category. I don’t want to be super casual because it is the holidays and I will be taking pics. On the other hand, I don’t want to be super glamorous because I am spending time at my family’s house. I don’t want to look like I’m in a family photoshoot ad.

I am so into the faux fur and/or teddy bear sweaters. I think the perfect Christmas outfit for those of us that live in the cold climate, is a white faux fur turtleneck sweater and faux leather leggings.

Pair this outfit with a red lip and you’re good to go šŸ’‹

If you’re not the type to wear faux leather leggings, then you can’t go wrong with a good ole sweater dress. I paired this dress with a black ankle boot with block heels for comfort. If this red dress doesn’t scream Christmas, I don’t know what else does.

These are just two outfit ideas that I think will look fabulous for Christmas dinner. But whatever you choose to wear, make a statement.

Until tomorrow, night night šŸ’‹

Blogmas #10: Top 5 Holiday Makeup sets

When I think about Christmas and New Year’s Eve, I immediately think about glitter and rich reds. Yes, I’m talking about makeup. Unless you’re like me, you don’t wear red lips on an almost daily basis.

This is the perfect time to purchase those vibrant makeup sets as a gift or for yourself. I’ve come across 5 sets that are a must have.

Too Faced Let it Snow Girl

Need I say anything about this gift set? If this doesn’t scream holidays, I don’t know what else does.

Too Faced Christmas Party Essentials

Now who doesn’t love a great gold glitter eyeshadow? This set comes with the Better than Sex mascara, which is on my top 5 list of great mascaras.

Too Faced Gingerbread Extra Spicy Eye Shadow Palette

This eyeshadow palette is a great stocking stuffer. Too Faced eyeshadows are very pigmente, as you can see by the rich and vibrant colors. This palette screams holidays.

Clinique Holiday Cheer

This has to be one of the best holiday makeup sets for the lips. The snowflake box actually breaks up into three section. Each section has a different lip set: nude, pink and plum.

Estee Lauder Lauder 31 Beauty Essentials

This is ultimate holiday set. Not only do you get full size lipstick, mascara and lip gloss…you also get a full size makeup remover, night repair creams and a train case.

The best part about these sets are the affordability. It’s always a great idea to purchase makeup, particularly in a set during the holiday season. The makeup is usually cheaper and you get more discounts. Just a little tip from me to you šŸ˜‰.
