I want to first take the time to wish all the mothers a very Happy Mother’s Day.  I hope that no matter what you are doing today, you know that you are celebrated.  Mothers are truly something special…

I can say that because I have a great example of a special mother… or as I call her “mommy”.  For those of you who read my Mother’s Day blog last year know that my mother is my best friend.  There is not one thing I would not do for this woman.  She is the most real, most honest and most humble person I know.  She keeps us all grounded and would do anything for us.  Definitely a great role model of what a wife and mother should be!!!  So today I just want to take some time to let her know how much she means to me.

The Meaning of Valentine’s Day…

I wanted to know all about the true meaning of Valentine’s Day, so I did a little research and below is a little excerpt from one of the sites I found:

“Each year on February 14th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.” The day of romance we call Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia.’
