Hey my friends!
First, let me say Happy Labor day! For us island folks, it’s a very big deal. If you’re in NYC, you’re probably celebrating at the carnival. For the rest of us not attending and plan on going to the beach, let me show you a last minute ootd (outfit of the day) you can wear at the beach if you’re not swimsuit ready…
A simply white tank top, kimono and jean shorts does the trick. And to accessorize your outfit. Add a straw crossbody bag, flip flops, gold hoop earrings and a pair of sunglasses… Continue reading “What to Wear to the Beach…”
Hey my friends!
I had to tell you about this subscription box I found on Instagram. Before I go into details, let me first say that I am NOT getting paid and this is NOT a sponsored post. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, look at this beautiful box of goodies…
This is Causebox…
If you haven’t heard about this subscription, I suggest you check them out. They are a monthly subscription box that is delivered 4x a year…basically a seasonal box. The box I received is their summer 2019. Actually this is their second summer box, as the first one sold out in a matter of weeks. I could have waited for the fall box, but I was so excited about most of the items in the summer two box. FYI…the fall box is now available to subscribe to.
To find out why I really like this subscription box, watch my unboxing video that will be posted on Labor Day! And after you watch my video, head over to Causebox and subscribe. Let them know that N A Waterman recommended you subscribe…
Have a great day my friends

I wanted to post an oldie but goodie simple recipe that is not only tasty, but is oh so easy to make.

Hey Friends and happy first Sunday of summer!
Summer…I have been waiting for you for sooo long. For those of you that live in the NJ/NY area like me, it has been raining as if we live in Seattle. It is so good to see that sun shining bright. With that being said…
I must share with you my must have sunglasses for this summer. I am obsessed with sunglasses. I cannot tell you offhand how many pairs I have. I always get asked why I need so many pairs. My fellow fashionistas out there definitely know the answer to that question!
I am a big fan of Coach sunglasses. I just think the styles they design are just so classic and can wear for years to come. However, this summer 2019 I have been obsessed with the Quay sunglasses line. I wouldn’t quite say that they are classic, but more trendy. I believe I can get away with wearing them for at least another year or two. And before I continue, let me put out my disclosure that this is not a sponsored blog.

So I’ve officially hit the 4 week, in other words, one month mark post surgery. How do I feel???
I could lie and say I’m feeling normal again, but I’m not. Before my surgery I watched so many YouTube videos of women who had open myomectomy surgeries and most said they started feeling back to normal after week 3. Now I’m a person who can tolerate pain and always pushes myself. I don’t know what these other women are doing, but I am not back to my normal routine. Don’t get me wrong, I am feeling much better than I have been, but not to the point that I’m back to doing my errands or exercising. Continue reading “Fibroids Can be Dangerous (Part 3)…”
