Hey my friends!

We’ve all been focused on prepping for Christmas, but New Year’s Eve is lurking around the corner.

Have you started preparing your look for your New Year’s Eve party? I have a few looks for you that will help you stand out in the crowd.

Today’s look is a mini sequin wrap dress and gold hoop earrings by N A Waterman “Eye Catching Jewelry” (shameless plug). If you’ve been living in a bubble then you wouldn’t know that sequins is trending right now.

Although this dress is sequins, the style keeps it casual and not formal as classic sequin dresses are known for. This definitely isn’t your pageant dress! And pairing it with gold hoops, add a fun, youthful look. I recommend wearing simple strappy nude or gold heels when wearing this material; as the dress is the showstopper.

Hey my friends!

So it’s officially 12 days until Christmas. Do you have your outfit(s) already picked out? Are you keeping it casual, are you glamming it up or are you somewhere in between?

I personally fit in the in between category. I don’t want to be super casual because it is the holidays and I will be taking pics. On the other hand, I don’t want to be super glamorous because I am spending time at my family’s house. I don’t want to look like I’m in a family photoshoot ad.

I am so into the faux fur and/or teddy bear sweaters. I think the perfect Christmas outfit for those of us that live in the cold climate, is a white faux fur turtleneck sweater and faux leather leggings.

Pair this outfit with a red lip and you’re good to go 💋

If you’re not the type to wear faux leather leggings, then you can’t go wrong with a good ole sweater dress. I paired this dress with a black ankle boot with block heels for comfort. If this red dress doesn’t scream Christmas, I don’t know what else does.

These are just two outfit ideas that I think will look fabulous for Christmas dinner. But whatever you choose to wear, make a statement.
