Hey my friends!
Happy Memorial day to you…So those of you that don’t eat meat, it can sometimes get difficult to find something to eat when you go to a BBQ.
You usually find yourself eating salad and fruit. Well I’m here to show you 4 simple foods you can eat.
Classic Cheeseburger 🍔
You can have your plant-based burger with vegan cheese (my favorite is the violife cheddar). Add your favorite condiments and enjoy. Believe me it taste just like the beef burgers everyone else is eating.
Hot dog 🌭
You can grill your plant-based hot dog, add your favorite condiments.
Grilled corn on the cob🌽
Instead of basting your corn with regular butter, use this plant-based butter with almond oil. And to make it more like a Mexican street style corn, add vegan parmesan cheese.
And lastly, but in my opinion necessary at any BBQ…
I believe a great classic potato salad must have boiled eggs in it and my mom hands down makes the best 👌🏽.
With that being said, an alternative for vegans is to add hot dog relish to your potato salad. It might sound weird at first, but it adds a delicious kick to the potato salad. I like to use red potatoes to make the salad. And I top it all off by mixing with vegan mayonnaise (the best is Hellmann’s).
So who said you can’t eat good at a BBQ? These are just a few basic and simple recipes you can use. There are so many options for a person that is either vegan, vegetarian or just trying to cut down on their meat consumption.
I hope you enjoy your Memorial day!As always, until next time…
Stay safe 💋
Hey my friends!
I know the majority of us are self quarantined in our home and the only style trend you’re thinking about is comfort. I’m all for being comfy while being in my house all day and night. However there isn’t anything wrong with looking cute while comfy.
The weather is starting to get warmer, as we are in Spring and soon will be approaching Summertime. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to continue lounging around in sweats and leggings.
Right now I’m loving the tie dye trend. Here are two styles you can lounge around the house in and still look stylish.
Rib-knit Tie Dye Dress
Tie Dye Cami and Shorts set
You can purchase these two looks for less than $15 each from Shein (not sponsored). And don’t forget to purchase your beautiful jewelry from my online boutique, N A Waterman Eye Catching Jewelry at http://www.nawaterman.com
Are you loving the tie dye trend just as much as I am?
Hey my friends!
I don’t know about you, but I was so excited to see that Sephora is still having their Spring sale online. If you’re like me, you have been waiting to purchase items with that extra discount.
I know for some, you enjoy going to the Sephora store to try on the makeup before you commit to purchasing it. For me, this is right up my alley. I have always made my Sephora purchases online. I don’t know about you, but I never get samples in the store. So I appreciate having the option of choosing 3 samples when I make my purchase online.
The sale starts today, April 17th for the rouge members at 20%. VIB members can start saving 15% on Tuesday, April 21st. And lastly, Insider members can start saving 10% on Thursday, April 23rd.
Here are my top 5 favorite must have items:
These items are some of the best products sold at Sephora. I absolutely love the Fresh facial product line. It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. And with the sale going on, it’s the perfect time to stock up.
Who doesn’t love Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer? If you’re like me and practically have non-existent eyebrows, this product is the best temporary fix. The slant at the tip of the pencil makes it easy to create the perfect brow.
I first came across the BADgal Bang mascara in my Sephora subscription box and fell in love. I was blessed with long lashes, so when I want a dramatic look, this mascara does just that. Definitely a must have.
And lastly, my all time favorite product and first item I ever purchased at Sephora…the Buxom blackest black mascara. The only thing I can say about it…AMAZING!!!
