Have You Noticed???

Is it me or lately when you look on Instagram, a lot of women are starting to look alike?  Everyone is getting the same contoured look, the same curvy body, same #ootd…OMG I could go on and on.  I feel like I’m looking at the same pic over and over again.

When did being your own unique self become obsolete?  Why do I feel like I am living in an episode of the Twilight Zone?  I always thought that the saying “Beauty is in the Eyes of the Beholder” meant something.  Does anyone want to embrace their uniqueness?  Continue reading “Have You Noticed???”

How’s the Story Going So Far???

How is your 2017 going thus far?  Has it been productive or have you not been motivated to work on your goals?

Where shall I begin… the chapter  of my story is going ok so far.  “Okay”, you ask?  Yup, just ok.  I’ve had a few setbacks, but I look at them as motivators… they are my “eye openers”.  I am determined to have a great 2017.  I promise that the 2017 chapter of my life is going to be one of the best chapters in this book.  And I hope you all are determined to do the same.

Hello my Friends!

First I wanted to start off with some good news.  My blood clots are gone… woohoo!!!  I am so very happy about this.  As you know, having blood clots are a scary thing and it really knocked me off my feet for the last four months.  I am still on the xarelto and hoping my doctor will take me off of it this week.  The blood thinners are not good to stay on for a long time.  It can cause bruising and make you bleed uncontrollably.  It definitely isn’t good for someone with fibroids and anemia.  I noticed yesterday that I have 4 bruises on my leg and I have no clue how they got there.  That’s the thing with being on blood thinners, you have to be extra careful because the slightest bump on something can cause bruising.  I actually look like I was in a fight or something, but  I can deal with it as long as the blood clots are gone.
