My Journey to Becoming Fibroid Free (Page 3)

Happy November!  Before I go into my story, let me shout out “HELLO MY FRIENDS!!!”

I have been gone for way too long.  Where have I been?  Where do I begin.  My new job has been keeping me extremely busy.  And to add on to that, my director went out on disability.  And you know what that means…I had to not only do my job, I had to do my director’s job.  Let me just say that I deserve a big pat on my back.  For a newbie, I stepped up to the plate and worked my behind off.

Hyster-WHAT!!! My Journey to Becoming Fibroid Free (Page 2)

Hello my Friends!

First I wanted to start off with some good news.  My blood clots are gone… woohoo!!!  I am so very happy about this.  As you know, having blood clots are a scary thing and it really knocked me off my feet for the last four months.  I am still on the xarelto and hoping my doctor will take me off of it this week.  The blood thinners are not good to stay on for a long time.  It can cause bruising and make you bleed uncontrollably.  It definitely isn’t good for someone with fibroids and anemia.  I noticed yesterday that I have 4 bruises on my leg and I have no clue how they got there.  That’s the thing with being on blood thinners, you have to be extra careful because the slightest bump on something can cause bruising.  I actually look like I was in a fight or something, but  I can deal with it as long as the blood clots are gone.

I am Back and Raring to Go!!!

Aviary Photo_130712803099340412I’m back!  I apologize for being M.I.A. for awhile.  It has been such a stressful and busy time for me.  I truly hate to complain and be negative, but sometimes life throws you obstacles that can become a bit overbearing.  It appears to me that when one bad thing goes wrong in your life, then another bad thing goes wrong… and oh wait a minute not done yet, let me just throw one more bad thing in your life just because…

th (2)I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason.  I believe that God gives us these challenges to not only test us, but to show us that we are much stronger than we believe we are.  That if you put your mind to it and also put your pride to the side, there isn’t one thing we cannot accomplish.  It’s good to be an independent woman, but it’s also ok to ask for help when you need it.

I apologize for this blog being short today, but I am not feeling 100%… you know that little thing called fibroids and endometriosis are acting up right now.  I just wanted to touch base and not seem like I just dropped off the face of the earth.  I never let anything hold me down for too long, but I do know my limits.  And although right now I’m not quite 100%, I am definitely back to business and raring to go!

But before I go, I just want to make sure that I thank my wonderful parents, my two little brothers and those wonderful friends who have been around to make me laugh and let me vent.  And as always, thank you to my social media friends out there who take time out of their schedule to read my blogs and show your support.  I truly appreciate it!

Have a goodnight and I will talk to you all soon 💋
