7 Healthy Foods for Great Health and Fertility!

thV0BPK6TK.jpg Hey friends!

If you have been following me from the beginning, you know that I have been honest about my extremely bad fibroid and endometriosis issues.  Unfortunately for most, these issues can lead to fertility issues.  Ugh…

As I’ve also talked about, I’ve changed the way I eat.  Don’t get me wrong, every once in awhile I do indulge in a few sweet treats.  I am trying to cut that out completely as well.  Who am I kidding…I only plan on cutting it out for the next month because I plan to indulge for Thanksgiving on a piece of sweet potato pie and a few Christmas treats.  Anyway enough about that, I want to share some of the foods I have incorporated in my journey to a healthy fertility. Whipping up some recipes

WP_20171002_16_39_58_ProHey friends!

So let me first put out this disclaimer…I am not vegan.  I do not like to put a label on myself.  I will just say that I try to eat healthy.  I must say that I do not eat beef or pork.  I do eat chicken maybe once or twice a month and I absolutely love cheese.

Due to my fibroid issues, I have changed the way I eat tremendously.  I cut out the beef and pork due to the hormones they inject.  When I eat chicken or dairy products, I always make sure it is organic and grass fed.  I must say since I’ve changed my eating lifestyle that I feel much better.

Autism Awareness Day…

April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day!  What do you know about Autism?  Do you know someone who suffers from Autism Spectrum Disorder?

Autism Spectrum Disorder ranges from mild to severe difficulties with their social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and repetitive behaviors. This disorder is more common in males.  Autism appears to have its roots in very early brain development. Signs and symptoms of autism tend to emerge between the ages of 2 and 3 years old.

As some of you may know, my youngest brother was diagnosed with a mild form of Autism around the age of 2.  I am not saying this because I am speaking of my brother, but he is so smart, especially when it comes to computer technology.  As a matter of fact, many of those on the autism spectrum have exceptional abilities in visual skills, music and academic skills.  “About 40 percent have average to above average intellectual abilities.”

You would never know that my brother suffers from autism until you hold a conversation with him.  Sometimes it is hard for him to express verbally what he is trying to say to you and it frustrates him.  When he gets frustrated, he tends to shut down and not want to talk.  Honestly, I cannot blame anyone for feeling that way.  However you cannot let them shutdown and crawl back into their shell.  The key is to keep them engaged.

My youngest brother is the strongest, smartest and friendliest person I know.  I thank GOD that I have him as my brother.  There isn’t one thing I would not do for him.
