Starting Chapter 2020…

Hey my friends!

As we reflect on 2019 and the decade in general, think about some of the highs and lows that were apart of your life.

It’s funny to think about what has happened in my life within the last decade. Now when I think about it, those ten years flew right by me. This decade has been a challenge to say the least. Some good, some bad…

And I don’t regret any of it…

I can honestly say with all of those stresses I had to face, it has developed me into the adult I know my family is proud of.

As I close the chapter to this year and this decade, I am so looking forward to starting chapter 2020. And in that chapter, I’m picking up where I left off in chapter 2019, as it was getting so good.

I want to thank all of my subscribers and those who have read and/or commented on my posts. I truly appreciate you all. And just know, the best is yet to come…

Happy New Year my friends 💋💋💋

Blogmas #19: What Was the Worst Christmas Gift you Ever Received???

Hey my friends!

Let me first say that all gifts are a blessing to receive. As they say, “it’s the thought that counts.”

Now with that being said, let’s be real…

We all have certain things that we like and dislike. It’s ok not to like a gift you receive. It doesn’t mean you are not grateful; just simply means it’s not your style.

The worst Christmas gift I ever received was a pair of colorful socks. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not the socks that I disliked, it was the design of it. This person, who happened to be a coworker from a job I had years ago, knew that it was clearly not my style.

What made it worst is that I put so much time and effort into buying that person a gift that I knew they would love. To add salt to the wound, when I opened my gift, my other coworkers smirked when they saw the socks. They laughed because they knew it was a last minute thoughtless gift.

What was the worst gift you ever received?
