International Autism Awareness Day ðŸ§©

Hey my friends!

For those of you that don’t know, today is International Autism Awareness Day and April is Autism Awareness month.

1 in 54 children are on the Autism spectrum. A child is usually diagnosed between the age of 2 or 3. If you are wondering about the signs, there are many signs, but one sign that I remember is that child will begin to stop communicating. It’s almost as if one day they just go into this shell.

A person with autism has difficulties with their communication and as a result they tend to get frustrated when people cannot understand them. The one thing we can point out is that people living with autism are generally extremely smart individuals and have great memories.

Autism is not a disability, it’s a different ability”

Do you know what Juneteeth is all about?

Juneteeth, also known as Freedom Day commemorates the ending of slavery, which occurred on June 19, 1865.

Here are some resources that you can go to for more information on this historical day and what led to Juneteeth.

Fashion Friday: The Sale Must Go On (Sephora Spring Sale)

Hey my friends!

I don’t know about you, but I was so excited to see that Sephora is still having their Spring sale online.  If you’re like me, you have been waiting to purchase items with that extra discount.

I know for some, you enjoy going to the Sephora store to try on the makeup before you commit to purchasing it.  For me, this is right up my alley.  I have always made my Sephora purchases online.  I don’t know about you, but I never get samples in the store.  So I appreciate having the option of choosing 3 samples when I make my purchase online.

The sale starts today, April 17th for the rouge members at 20%.  VIB members can start saving 15% on Tuesday, April 21st.  And lastly, Insider members can start saving 10%  on Thursday, April 23rd.

Here are my top 5 favorite must have items:

These items are some of the best products sold at Sephora.  I absolutely love the Fresh facial product line.  It is a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it.  And with the sale going on, it’s the perfect time to stock up.

Who doesn’t love Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer?  If you’re like me and practically have non-existent eyebrows, this product is the best temporary fix.  The slant at the tip of the pencil makes it easy to create the perfect brow.

I first came across the BADgal Bang mascara in my Sephora subscription box and fell in love.  I was blessed with long lashes, so when I want a dramatic look, this mascara does just that.  Definitely a must have.

And lastly, my all time favorite product and first item I ever purchased at Sephora…the Buxom blackest black mascara.  The only thing I can say about it…AMAZING!!!Â
